Description

Tanjong Jara Resort is situated on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, between Kuala Terengganu in the North and Kuantan in the South. The resort is built on a 17-hectare site facing the South China Sea. The riverine town of Dungun lies west of Tanjong Jara and is eight kilometres away. The resort is accessible by road from all major cities within Peninsular Malaysia. It is approximately a mile away from the expressway and a one hour drive from Kuala Terengganu Airport. The Resort provides transfers via limousine services from the Kuala Terengganu Airport, Kerteh Airport, Kuantan Airport (in the state of Pahang), or Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at Sepang. Malaysia Airlines flies daily to Kuala Terengganu Airport from KLIA in Sepang as well as from the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang. A flight schedule can be obtained from the Concierge. Every room is intricately designed, using rich local timbers and tastefully furnished with luxurious local fabrics. The rooms are all positioned to offer panoramic views of the South China Sea as well as the beautiful tropical landscaped gardens. All rooms have colour TV with satellite channels, IDD telephones, coffee/tea making facilities, in-room safe and refrigerator, toiletries, writing table, and hairdryer. The Resort offers guests three choices of accommodation.

Valid from April 1 2009 until further notice. A surcharge of MYR200 per adult twin-share for travel on Friday & Saturday including peak season and public holidays. Sea View Bumbung Rooms will be at an additional MYR100 per adult  twin-share and additional MYR50 per adult twin-share for every extra night. Price are subject to change without notice. Based on full prepayment. Single supplement applies. Beverages excluded except coffee,tea and mineral water served during dining. Maximum 2 adults and 1 child below 12 yrs old in one villa. An extra bed is chargeable at MYR115 per bed in Anjung Villa room category. Dive activities are not applicable to children below 15 yrs old. Flights by Air Asia or Malaysia Airlines (Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu) return flight available at additional to package. Not applicable to group bookings.
